Organic, Adorable and Affordable, Oh My!

I love it when I find adorable and well made kids clothes at great prices. And when I came across the Kate Quinn Organics website, I immediately knew that her designs hit the mark exactly.

I'm probably late to the Kate Quinn party, as I am usually not hip to all the cool kids designers. I tend to get clothes for my kids at Old Navy (cheap, cute, fairly durable), Target (just plain cheap), and Naartjie (too cute, comfy, great bargains to be had). I hate splurging too much on kids clothes because they are so easily ruined and my girls grow out of stuff so fast that it breaks my heart. And I put comfort before cute when dressing my girls, nothing too frilly or lacy or constricting.

Kate Quinn Organics fabrics and designs look nice and comfy. The clothes are adorable, the colors are gorgeous, and the prices are fabulous. Lots of kimono tops and dresses, loose pants and soft materials.

Also Earth friendly, Kate Quinn Organics uses only certified organic cotton, grown using sustainable farming practices that maintain and replenish soil fertility without the use of toxic and persistent pesticides and fertilizers. All the garments are made of organically produced cotton and have been certified Fair Trade.
I can't wait to pick up a few pieces for my little ones.

These Will Look So Cute On My Girls!

My friend Jen gave me the heads up about this Etsy seller who makes adorable "Pillowcase" dresses for little girls. They are super simple, and super cute! She makes them in many fabrics, with coordinating ribbon, so there are lots of choices. And at $9.99 and $14.99 you can stock up!

For 3 bucks you can download her instructions and make your own pillowcase dresses, or for $6 you can order a kit that includes the instructions, fabric and ribbon for one dress. I may have to try my hand at making a dress ot two.

I also love the fact that as your kids grow, they don't grow out of the dresses. They can be worn over pants or leggings as a shirt. I shall be ordering a stack of these for my girls.

This adorable girly goodness can be had at Addy Claire's Boutique on Etsy.

Best Deal Ever

Look at the adorable little girl's outfit I've put together from Crazy 8. The whole thing totals $16.96 and that includes the shoes and headband.

Headband $1.99 (yes, $1.99!!!) Tee $4.99 Raw Edge Shorts With Metallic Drawstring $4.99 Flip Flops $4.99

Crazy 8 has far too many adorable things to list here, but their headbands and head scarves are to die for. And at prices like these you can load up. Crazy 8 sells clothes for girls and boys from sizes newborn to 14. I happen to focus on girls clothes because that's what I have at home, but the boys clothes are great too. Go to http://www.crazy8.com/ to check out their semi-annual sale.

New Naartjie Website Has Launched!

Naartjie's new website launched today, and it is a VAST improvement over their old website. The navigation is better, it is much more organized, you can shop by category now, when you click on an item you can select now from available sizes and colors much easier. It definitely makes shopping from the website easier.

Naartjie has come a long way with their internet presence in just the past year. They have gone from no online retail, to having online retail but a terrible site and shopping cart, to this great new site. You can also still shop by phone or email to any Naartjie store.

If you are addicted to Naartjie clothes like me, check it out. If you've never put your kids in Naartjie, definitely try it. The clothes are so cute, easily layered, but not fussy. They wash well and they are very well made for the price. Mostly, they are very comfortable, which is my top priority when dressing my kids. I don't put them in ruffles and frills because my girls want soft and stretchy pieces. Naartjie fits the bill perfectly. And we get compliments every time they are wearing Naartjie outfits in public.

And did I mention Naartjie is inexpensive? Don't get me wrong, you can easily drop several hundred dollars in one trip to a Naartjie store, but that's just because there is so much cute stuff there. They mark the sale items down to almost nothing.

Anyway, enough rhapsodizing...I love the new website. Click http://www.naartjie.com/ to shop.

Adorable New Robeez Sandals

Robeez are my favorite shoes for babies and young toddlers. They are comfortable, easy to put on, and they stay on better than socks alone. My older daughter didn't start walking until I put Robeez on her and they gave her the traction to feel secure on her feet. Not to mention all of the adorable designs that make these leather booties so distinctive.

Now Robeez has gone glam with their infant sandals. In addition to the basic pink, white, and brown, they are now available in gold and metallic pink. So cute! These will add a luxe detail to any adorable infant outfit. $27.95 at the Robeez website. Check them out here...

Naartjie Summer 3 Is Here

The Naartjie Summer 3 collection is in store and online and it is really cute. Think netting trimmed dresses and skirts and flowing lawn mermaid prints.

The website still isn't the easiest way to order, though. The shoes I clicked on weren't available at all and the dresses I clicked on weren't available in the colors/sizes I wanted. So, I'll have to call a store and have it shipped or drive to Fresno to pick up some of the pieces. It's worth it though because they are also handing out Kids Kash right now.

During Kid Kash time you receive $20 coupons with every $50 spent that are redeemed later during a specified period. You can get some great deals during Kid Kash redemption.

If you have never shopped at Naartjie, stop in the next time you get a chance. It can be overwhelming due to the sheer amount of adorable stuff they have crammed into a small space, but once you get past that it's on. The clothes are cute, comfy and wash well. Just watch the sizes, sometimes things can run oddly large or small, but you can usually tell just by looking.

View the new collection at the Naartjie website. Happy shopping!

Crazy Cute

A few weeks ago I was in Gymboree, which is one of my favorite kid's stores, and the saleslady asked me if I had been to Crazy 8 in Fesno. I said no, never heard of it, and she said I should check it out, it is owned by Gymboree and the clothes are cute but not as expensive. I looked up Crazy 8 online and the clothes are very very cute. Honestly, even cuter than Gymboree, and the price is much more reasonable.

The clothes are a bit more preppy and clean, less embellishment, which I prefer. They have a whole mess of T Shirts for $5, and if you are lucky enough to find winter clearance pieces in your child's size the prices are outstanding. I also love the girls Easter collection, Paper Whites, much more so than Gymboree's. Shipping is always $4.95.

Check it out...
