Lately I'm loving Audrina Patridge. The Hills star always looks like the quintessential California girl, with simple, laid back but still glam ensembles. The other night at the opening for a new upscale bowling alley in Orange County, she showed up looking super casual, but so cute in pale yellow jeans set off by a basic black tank and flip flops.




I am always hesitant to pair yellow and black pieces because I don't want to look like a bumblebee, but Audrina avoided that here by wearing jeans in a soft buttery shade rather than a bright color that would have looked bee-ish.

I remember Michelle Trachtenberg as Buffy's little sister. But lately I've been noticing how great she looks at every red carpet event she attends. Sarah Jessica Parker arrived the London premiere of the new Sex and the City movie wearing a beautiful green Alexander McQueen dress and a hat that nearly defies description. It appears to be an acorn cap adorned by roses, grass and butterflies. It took me a minute to digest her outfit, but once it sunk in I gave it a thumbs up.
