Get Kate Hudson's Summer White Style

Kate Hudson does summer white better than anyone I've ever seen. White is obviously a staple in her wardrobe and she wears it really well. Whether she's pairing a boho dress with oversized bags and chunky shoes, mixing white ankle length jeans with a blazer, or rocking beachy linen pants and a cool cami, her look is always completely covetable.

I love this billowy white dress and sandals. She looks utterly cool and crisp.

Check out the pop of red from those heels.

Accessorizing with a tres chic scarf and nude wedges.

This is my fave. Super wide linen pants, beige cami and Wayfarers. She adds a hippie chick touch with the long beaded nacklace.

To stalk Kate's style, grab some of the white pieces below. Add thongs with chunky stones, nude wedges, long necklaces, a scarf, an oversized hobo, or a jaunty fedora for her Boho chic look.

My Ugg Conversion

I used to think Uggs were for mountain men and people in Alaska. When the whole Ugg thing started and we were seeing Kate Hudson running around with Uggs and shorts I thought it was the ugliest thing I had ever seen. But, lo and behold, I have been sucked in by a trend once again and have become a full fledged lover of Uggs. It is obvious that I have no ability to think for myself and am easily persuaded by the media with regard to my fashion buying choices, but in this case I don't care. The rewards of warm, comfy shoes are too great.

It all started when my hubby gave me a pair of Ugg slippers for Christmas a couple of years ago. They are so comfortable that I couldn't help wearing them constantly. I then purchased a pair of faux Ugg boots from Costco, but I found that I didn't like them as much. So again, as a Christmas gift, I received a pair of the classic mini's in chocolate brown and I just adore them. I wear them constantly in the winter. And, they are definitely more comfortable than the Costco cheapies. But, I did wear those cheapies in the snow last weekend and they really did the job. My feet stayed completely dry and you can't tell on the leather that they were wet. So there you go.

Now I must have a pair of the classic short boots in either sand or chestnut.

Oprah featured the Ugg Crochet on her Favorite Things show, but the crocheted boots just don't work for me. I think they are pretty ugly. But maybe by next year I will have changed my mind and decided I love them.

So let me know, are Uggs hot or not? Am I hideously trendy? Answer our poll and let me know!
